Bilsdale Local History Group

The Bilsdale Local History Group (previously the Bilsdale Study Group) was formed in 1982 by a group of local people with a keen interest in Bilsdale's history. Its membership is drawn from all walks of life, with the strong influence being that of the farming community and those making their living in and around the dale. The Group meets each month to discuss the dale and its people.  Topics can include archaeology, geology, ecology, natural history, culturural history and the people of the dale.  You can read about the local history of Bilsdale . If you are involved in any research about Bilsdale or Bilsdale families please let us know.

Next Meeting - meetings are usually held each month at the Buck Inn, Chop Gate. Please see the events section for details of the next meeting. All welcome.
